Dr. Nasir graduated Cum Laude from the University of Houston with a BS in Biology. He earned his MD from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, where he was elected into membership of Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.
He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. He then completed fellowships in Cardiovascular Diseases and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
Dr. Nasir is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
He currently serves as the Clinical Director of Electrophysiology Services at the Methodist Debakey Heart Center. He is also the Deputy Chair of the Department of Cardiology at the Methodist Hospital.
Dr. Nasir has participated as an investigator of several national electrophysiology trials and has numerous publications to his name.
