SPECT/CT (Single Photon Emission CT + CT Scan)

ct-scan

SPECT/CT is a heart‑imaging test that shows how well blood flows to your heart muscle. It combines two types of images:

  • SPECT, which shows how blood moves through the heart
  • CT, which gives a clear picture of the heart’s structure

When these images are fused together, your care team can see both function and anatomy in one scan. This helps detect reduced blood flow, prior heart damage, or blockages that may need treatment.
It’s painless, safe, and done right in the outpatient clinic.
